Rev. David Miles

He was a very special person and friend..

To the family of the Rev. David Miles. I'm so sorry to have just learned of his passing at this late date. I have nothing but pleasant memories of David when I met him while we were both attending VA Union Proctor School Theology. He was truly an example of what a great man was. Rest in peace my friend, and Lord willing I'll see you again one day on the other side.

I was truly saddened to hear of David's passing. Though many years have passed, I'll always remember his humor and kindness. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and I pray that they find comfort and peace. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. May God bless and keep you all.

You will be missed.

David you were a faithful friend and servant to many on this side. May you hear the words "Well Done! Good and Faithful Servant " as you enter that restful place prepared and waiting for you by Our Loving Father in Heaven. Family, you are and will continue to be on my heart and in my prayers.

A genuine, patient, caring soul and role model, a conduit of God's love and a witness to Truth. His memory, inspiration and example live on in all those he touched. Condolences to the family.

Condolences to the family of David Miles. I met David while at NCCU Graduate School in 2002. We have been friends every since. I will miss him dearly. He was such a kind and loving person. He became the brother I never had. I will always love him and remember the memories we shared. Although he is gone he will never be forgotten. I will always think of him when I hear one of his favorite gospel songs, "There's a Leak in this Old Building.. and my Soul has got to move..." Love you miles, I will see you one day at the pearly gates.

May, it also be comforting to remember that we can call on God and he will give us the needed strength to cope with our sorrows.
