Survivors include his wife, Susan (Hanulik) Montemayor, formerly of Kittanning; one son, Luke Montemayor at home; two daughters, Amy Montemayor and Rachel Montemayor, both at home; his father and stepmother, Pete and Karen Montemayor of California; one brother, Darren Montemayor of California; two sisters, Mary of Oregon and Debbie of California; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nora Montemayor. Burial was held Oct. 8 in Forest Lawn, Cypress, Calif.
