David L. Nice

David L. Nice, 40, of King Avenue, Waynesboro, died on Monday afternoon, May 31, 2010, at his home.

David was born on November 17, 1969, in Lynchburg, Virginia, the son of Dave and Brenda Nice of Stuarts Draft.

Surviving are his wife, Stephanie of Mount Sidney; one son, Jarrett Tate and one daughter, Brandi Danielle, both of the home; one sister, Melissa N. Miller of Haleyville, Alabama; two brothers, Spencer Nice and his wife, Melissa, and Rodney Nice and his wife, Lindsey, of Top Hill, Jamaica.

He is also survived by his grandmother, Helen Bridge. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, and a special friend, Tam Tran, his employer.

David enjoyed camping, tinkering with computers and being outdoors.

David was employed as Night Manager at Sunoco East Main Street in Waynesboro.

Visitation will be from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. Thursday, June 3, 2010, at Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes in Waynesboro.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 4, 2010, at Mount View Mennonite Church in Lyndhurst, Virginia, by Pastor Earl Monroe and Pastor Mark Hodge. Burial will be private.

A fund has been established at DuPont Credit Union for the children, Jarrett and Brandi, in lieu of flowers.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes and Crematory.

David& Brenda, Melissa & Family I am so sorry for your Loss ,My thoughts and Prayers are with you all, i remember growing up, he was always so full of energy,And Brenda had to be to! to take 5 kids to the lake!You are always in my thoughts and he will always be remembered.& May God comfort you all at this difficult time
