We are thankful to have discovered this wonderful tribute to a life well lived & served. David graduated in 1958 from Manitou Springs High School, with top honors. David had many friends in the small town & school of Manitou Springs. David's entire class was filled with outstanding students, many that went on to great honors and fame. This 2013 year marks the 55th anniversary of the graduation of the class of 1958. I have prepared a great tribute on David in our "GONE, Yet Not Forgotten" book of classmates from backin the 1920's until current. Most classmates had lost contact with David and have inquired of him many years. Thankful this is still available online. Our most sincere condolances go out to each and everyone of you in the family of David, along with his friends. Blessings to you all. May the good Lord hold and comfort you.

Just noticed that David had left us. I last spoke with him in May or June of 2010 while working on the 2010 National Scout Jamboree. I appreciated his friendship, the free shuttles to DFW, his sense of humor, and the love we shared for the BSA. RIP, sir. Thanks for the memories.

Dave was my best friend in Park Slope-NY. Moved into our brownstones on Berkeley Pl the same day, across from each other. Was a real blessing to have him as a neighbor and companion for about seven years. Besides his guidance, compassion, wit and helping hands, I also grew to appreciate his fine cigars during our after dinner conversations. I loved the man. And the beautiful memories he has given me...that I will treasure till my last day.

To Emily & David, this is a bit late but we just heard about the passing of your dad. He was our across-the-street neighbor in Park Slope, NY, in the 1960s-early 70s. We left NY when I was 7. I caught up with your dad later at the Scout
Jamboree when I was in high school. I'm sure it is difficult to lose him. You & your families are in my prayers.

No one from the Parks Family will know who I am; however, I have heard much about David while growing up! My parents were friends with him while they lived in New York. I did meet David during a jamboree in the 1980s, and he was so nice! I am sorry to you, his family and friends, who will miss him so much. Sincerely, Victoria Bowermaster

Lynne, I am so sorry to hear of David's passing. It has been many years since we last talked but I have fond memories of when we were all young and working at Milbank Tweed. I have lived in Dallas for 38 years and would love to hear from you and see you.

Dad, you were solid, strong and principled. The best Father-in-Law a man could ask for. We feel your presence everyday. Please be close with us now and let your spirit give us strength in these difficult days. God bless you and keep you always.

All my condolences to the Park family. I didn't know Mr. Park, but I know his son, and that great a guy doesn't come about unless he's brought up by another great guy. Through his life, and all the lives Mr. Park touched, he lives on.
