Dad;
I don't think that an hour goes by where I don't think of you; you are missed more than I think you could ever know. Even though you are gone; your spirit will live on through your children and all those that loved you. It is so nice to hear all the wonderful messages left in this guest book; it reminds me of what a wonderful man my father was and how he touched the lives of so many without probably even knowing it. I wish we had more time together but I am grateful for all the fond memories we have created and I will treasure them forever. Although my heart feels broken right now, I know in time it will heal and we will all move forward continuing to make you proud.You will forever be in our hearts! Rest in peace dad, you deserve it! I love you so much!!!!

Dad,
Not a day goes by where i don't think about you. It's just not fair you were taken from us so young. You played such a big role in all our lives that it makes it so hard to carry on without you. I wouldn't be the man or father I am today if it wasn't for you. I'm so proud that I made you a grandfather, I just wish that Joel would have been able to have more time with you. The time you did spend with my son meant the world to me and to him. Even though you didn't have much time with him I truly believe he'll never forget you. You meant the world to me and if I could be like any man it would be you. I learned so much from you and will try and keep my head up and continue to make you proud. Forever in my heart, rest in peace dad I love you so much. Your son Jordan Ryan Pelland.

Dad,
I miss you so much already. Life just isn't the same without you. I miss your phone calls to make me feel better about being so far away from home, you always loved chatting. I wish I could have just one more day to spend with you. I really wish you could have been around to see me complete my fourth year of my apprenticeship as a heavy equipment tech, I know you would have been so proud of me. I'm really going to miss your laughter and enormous smile. I will never forget your last big smile when you told us all you just want us to be happy. Dad you were my friend, my father and my hero and I hope someday I will be as good a father as you. I know your in heaven right now watching over us and even though you may be far away you will always have a special place in my heart. I will cherish all the great memories and all the great times spent with you. Love always and forever your oldest son Darien David Pelland. Rest in peace Dad. It's not goodbye it's see you later.

We have known David for many years and it was during this last year that we interacted more and got to know him better. We will remember him as a gentle, caring, very decent upstanding person. He always did the right thing and we admire him for that. I enjoyed our chats where we shared our parenting experiences and the funny stories about our kids. From our conversations, we could tell that David was very proud and dedicated to his children. To David’s family and those close to him, we extend our deepest condolence. May you all know that it was a privilege for us to have had the opportunity to share in a small part of David’s life. We will miss him and his BIG smile. May you rest in peace, David.

Dave and I worked together for many years. I am very sad to hear of his passing. Even when he was battling cancer he would send me funny e-mails or jokes and was always asking about others. He always had a positive out look . He was a a pleasure to work with and will be very much missed. My deepest condolences to his family.
Rest in peace Dave.

John and I met Dave and his children years and years ago at Brookvale Campsite in Osoyoos. Although we only spent two weeks camping beside them, and his ex-brother-in-law Vic, I will always remember it to be the best two week camping trip I ever had. Dave was so laid back and easy to talk to, we all sat up late each night telling stories about our lives and had many, many good laughs! In the morning we all had coffee together and John made pancakes with stawberries and whipped cream... the kids wanted that every morning! We had great times on the seadoo's and laying in the sun. The boys called John "Mr. Big Man" when they couldn't remember his name. I will always remember how sweet it was every night when Kristyn went to bed, she would call out "I love you Daddy!" before she went to sleep. He was so happy with his children and you just knew they thought the world of him. I thought of Dave and his family often over the years and it always made me smile. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Who knew that knowing someone for a couple of short weeks in a lifetime could hold so many wonderful memories. My heart hurts for his children and I will continue to smile when I think of those days. Thank you Dave, and Rest in Peace. Lynda
