David Priest Obituary
David Wayne Priest, Jr., 24, of Van Buren, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021 in Fayetteville. He was born Dec. 10, 1996 in Chippewa Falls, Wis. He was an equipment operator for Concord Water. He was preceded in death by his wife, Paiden Priest; and two children, Grayson Alexander Beckham and Elijah James Priest.
He is survived by his parents, Deann and R.C. Steele of Stigler, and David Priest, Sr. and Crystal Reano of Rock Island; three sisters, Shaw-na Arriola of Van Buren, Jerri Morse of Fort Smith, and Kellie Harris of Alma; a brother, Doryan Priest of Rock Island; his grandparents, Harrison and Pat Riddle of Bald Knob, Harold Capek of Van Buren, and Larry and Penny Steele of Stigler; uncles and aunts, Chuck and Sam Capek of Colfax, WI, Latasha Lovelady of Alma, and Harold Capek, Jr. of Alma; three nieces; a nephew; and a very special cousin who was like a brother, John Lester Riddle of Alma.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Gill Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be Charles Capek, Harold Capek, Jr., John Riddle, Alex Robinson, Kenneth Harris, and Keith Riddle. Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Flynn, Austin King, Cody Malone, and Dustin Lamproe.
Viewing will be 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Friday, April 23, 2021, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
