I am so sorry to learn this
The first time I saw him was in the quad cities Illinois/Iowa with Leonard Conner Jerry Phelps at a tent revival I was 13 years old 1965 ish
I love his ministry and his music of course who didn't . His songs are so deep that I never ever forgotten but over the years somehow I loaned my albums out and never got them back . About 10 years ago I found him on Facebook I told him how I first met him and he actually sent me his phone number I was able to call him and we had the best conversation I was able to replace all of his music and felt like he was the Elvis Presley of gospel to me . I was in Jeffersonville Indiana for a short time a year that his daughter was born and named after Bernice Hicks it was a very exciting time for me . I am so sad for all of us but happy he is where He sang about .
I'm so blessed that I got to meet him

Love this man of God. He prayed for my husband to get back in church along with our wonderful pastor Rev. Hicks. Rev. Rich prayed for my broken back and God heaIed it. Looking forward to see him on the other side see you soon.

Rev Dave Rich prophesied to me in 1993 that "He saw me going down in the gutter and bringing the lost out..he saw me reaching people nobody else could reach" Im currently a staff member at St. Benedicts Mens Homeless Shelter in Owensboro Ky! He was a prayer warrior..holding prayer meetings longer than any other preacher i knew. Such a loving caring compassionate man...He will surely be missed.Praying for GODS Everlasting Peace be upon his family and friends....

I'll miss Dave. He was such a good friend. I still remember him taking me to Nashville to tour RCA recording studio and later to SUN recording. I remember him introducing me to Chet Atkins. I use to go with him to recording sessions where he wanted me to learn the "presence"Nashville sound. Remember recording with him at his brother's studio there in Central City and his brother James "spider" Rich playing along with Dave. Some precious memories! Will miss Dave but I can still play his records. Love and prays to all his family. God bless you all. Jerry Wilson

Dave
Was an inspiration and a joy to be around
He played and sang with such ease a purity.
Words can not describe how much joy he brought to our family and my Dads ministry!
He was a special person and he will be missed
My God be with you all and cherish the wonderful memories!

I first laid eyes on Brother Dave as he was called by many ,when he came to Livermore for a revival at Bethel Pentecostal church in the summer of 1966. I had been saved very long and I remember how awesome he was as a preacher and singer. I was an instant fan of Bro. Dave. Followed him for years after that. I appreciate anyone who helps me get closer to my Lord and he was definitely one. Rest In Peace Bro. Dave. See you later
