I was honored to have known David for 21 years and sad to hear of his passing. From the moment I met him, he welcomed me full heartedly and I will never forget his generosity. He was a man of few words, but his actions spoke loudly…. David gave whole heartedly and never expected anything in return; he was truly a giving and sincere individual. The love and compassion he had for my girls spoke volumes and they are extremely saddened by his loss. Thank you David for giving the girls your time, your love, and devotion as fervently as you did … they will forever be known as bitty-bitty and bully-bully because of the creativity in your name giving. My whole respect and heartfelt sincere condolences are extended to the entire family. May you find peace with one another and always remember he lives through each of you. Grandma, I love you and I know this is something more difficult to understand...losing a child is indescribable,your strength is what will continue to keep everyone else lifted. God Bless the entire Salas family, may each of you find comfort in knowing David will be able to see his dad, maybe even share a room side/side with Tato again...and best of all to be embraced by his Father..our Savior.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where this is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light
And where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
