David SCHACHTER Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David after a courageous battle, on Sunday, January 29, 2012, as always with his adoring wife Lois at his side. He will be greatly missed by his loving children, Joy, Fern and Ian; his beloved granddaughters, Gabrielle and Claudia; Lois' children, Samuel and Jennifer Steinberg; and by his many deeply devoted friends and relatives. Son of the late Solomon and the late Fanny Schachter. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, January 31 at 12 noon. Burial at the Shaare Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at his home, 3555 ch. de la Côte-des-Neiges #1705, Montreal, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily. Contributions in David's memory may be made to the Segal Cancer Centre c/o the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, (514) 340-8251.

Dear Lois fern, Ian, joy I am unbelievably saddened by your fathers passing, and your husband. i always wanted to know how he was and feeling even before he was sick. I will always remember all the many great times we all had together, whether it was for a holiday or the golf club.or any time we got together all of us wherever it might have been. I cared for him and your mother as fantastic neibhours and family friends.
