Dave was a big hearted man. The two and a half years we were in a relationship he was nothing less then kind, generous, loving and giving. He didn't care who you were, where you'd been or what you'd done. There was no judgement, just a helping hand that reached out in kindness, to hopefully make your path easier. Sincere condolences to all Dave's family and friends. Such a great loss.

Godspeed my dear friend! Grandpa Jerry Blades has the fondest memories of you and Uncle David as kids... Broke his heart to know that you have passed which gave way to stories this morning of La Conner, Stanwood and the surrounding areas that Dave also lived! Swiftly we pass by without a thought until our day is done.

Knowing Dave changed my life. He was always willing to give me a hug when I needed one and tell me everything was going to be okay. He will be greatly missed. I am thankful I got a chance to know this amazing man, even if only for a short while.
