Dave is my best friends dad. This man was so personable and caring. I remember him really taking interest in what I was doing with my life and providing excellent guidance. Dave was a man that I could chat with for hours amongst many topics. I will forever miss him; because I enjoyed getting the opportunity to converse with him everytime I went to visit my best friend, Jothan. I remember when I came over to Dave's house not to long ago and made dinner for him. He said he really enjoyed my enchiladas. Love you and miss you Dave and may you rest in peace.

Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

My favorite memory is boating and enjoying the water fun. He loved water and speed. Enjoying movies in his home Theater. Any movie and concert he had it. A great popcorn.

Do not know where to begin. I have known David all my life and he has always been a blessing. Some of my first memories were tee ball games. When I was about 4 Kahley, Rachelle, and myself played on the same team. One day I was rounding third base tripped over the base and fell flat on my face. Good ole uncle David caught this on a home video. I remember going to their house and having endless home videos to watch. He would always rewind and rewind this and react this and laugh. Our families have endless boating adventures most memorable one weekend we were out on a brand new bayliner and camping since it also had a cabin. I go down below and say ummmm David, dad the cabin is flooded. There was about a foot of water down below. They lift the engine hatch turns out the engine was flooded and the boat was sinking. We had to be towed to land by another boat we flagged down. Turns out both our dads forgot to put plugs in the new boat. We spent the weekend bailing water. We have been from Hawaii to Florida and from the ocean to the lake. Too many great Christmas´s together we have laughed, cried, and David has always been there through my life´s biggest adventures to the worst. I have been blessed to have him in my life. Love you uncle Dave and really cannot imagine that you are no longer here.

Too many, have known David since the day I was born. I remember as a kid like 4 years old he was at my tee ball games recording the games. One game he got me running around 3rd base and I tripped over the base and fell. It was in our home videos every-time I came over he would rewind and replay and all of us would laugh. Another big one was our families always went boating together and camping. David and my dad had a boat together we were out camping on Stockton lake with a brand new bay liner which had a cabin and bathroom down below. I went down to use the restroom and said dad, David the cabin is flooded and their ways a foot of water in the cabin. Not too long after that they looked at the engine and it was flooded. Later found out the boat was sinking and David and my dad forgot to put the plugs in the boat. We had to be towed back to land and spend the weekend bailing out the boat. Too many great memories from
Hawaii to Florida, I have been beyond blessed to have him in my life.

I have so many fond memories of Dave. He was an incredible man and loved his family and dear friends fiercely. He was always up for a good time and made me feel so welcome. He treated me like his second daughter and always included me. He was like family to me. One of my favorite memories with him was when me and a friend of mine met Jothan, Nicole and Dave at the Florida house. I had been in Georgia for work training and was really missing my family. As soon as we got there I wasnt as home sick. I was with family. Dave made me feel so welcome and we went out on the boat and just hung out, relaxed and had fun. I am so blessed to have known him and to have been such a big part of his life. This one hits hard and he will be so incredibly missed. I find comfort in knowing that he is no longer in pain and lived a life full of joy and love. Thank you for everything Dave. Your kindness meant the world to me. Fly high with the angels, watch over us and give my dad a hug.
