Remembering you today, David. I am glad we were able to get back in touch before you passed.

David was one of those people with a personality that just stood out. He was simply a fun person to be around. He had a talent for mixing fun conversation in with real work that made the whole work environment more enjoyable for everyone.
His Wife and Daughter were hugely important to him. I don't think anyone could doubt that being a husband and father were the top priorities in his life. He made no secret of that both in his words and actions. My heart goes out to both of them.
My thoughts and prayers go out to David and his family. Thank you David for all the fun times, conversations and laughs. Rest in peace.

Dave's passing leaves a void in the lives of those who knew him. Whether discussing work, family, or the everyday mundane, Dave's great wit and humor were always evident and something I looked forward to regularly. More than that, his love for and great pride in his family was undeniable and he is greatly missed.

I still can not wrap my head around your passing Dave. I have known you for 12 years and even though we had drifted apart I still felt very close to you. You were plain and simple an incredible person. You made me laugh, you lifted me up and you were a great friend. You were a unique soul and I am blessed to have had you in my life even for a short time. I know you are with your parents right now, making them laugh and enjoying being reunited with them. Heaven truly has another angel and I know you will be looking over not only Kim and Penelope but everyone else you have touched in your 40 yrs on this earth. I hope to see you again someday and I know we will start laughing 5 mins after that. My love goes out to your entire family and you will be missed by so many people.

David was truly one of a kind and even though he was only in my life for a short amount of time, he had a major impact on it. I'll miss our daily chats and inside jokes. He was always there for me whether I wanted it or not. ;) Thank you David for making me, me again. I'd rather lose you than never know you at all. Sending my love to his family, who I know he loved with every last ounce of his being.

Behind a fun and down-to-earth attitude, David had a smart and good natured with an always ready to help persona. He liked to be involved with everything going on which shows how much he cared with things going around him. It was always easy to have a heart to heart conversation with him anytime - well, I am sure he is in a better place now spreading the love! He will be missed dearly and to his family - my heartfelt condolences and wishes in overcoming his absence. Rest in peace David, my friend.

David was a good friend that will be greatly missed. He had a great personality and was so fun to be around. I could always count on Dave for a good laugh and to lighten the mood. He was super smart, compassionate, and loved his family. My prayers go out to Kim and Penny.

Dave never met a stranger and always had time to talk. There were many trips to various Duke regions where Dave would either take a stranger or homeless person to lunch or give them money. He was an extremely smart teammate who knew how to work a room and get stuff done.
Outside of work, I could always count on Dave to send some random picture to celebrate his RedSox or Patriots championships at my expense (I am a Yankee and Bill's fan).
Dave loved his family and my heart goes out to his wife and daughter.
Selfishly, I miss my daily chats, text messages, random phone calls as they always left me smiling.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Dave and his family.
Rest in peace my friend! You're missed beyond words!

David and I worked on and off together at Duke for several years. I will miss his wit, initiative, and ownership approach to all things.

I worked with David here at Duke and he was fun, upbeat and always kept me laughing. He will be missed dearly and I am still in shock. I send prayers to the family and words of comfort.

david was a great friend, and i miss him at work already. We both grew up near each other in NH, and both worked at Progress Energy/Duke Energy...it was always great to speak to him, since we both had so many similar memories from growing up. He was my New England Patriots Brother...both of us were avid fans, and routinely texted each other during big games. I'll miss that. He was a tremendous help at work when i was stuck with complicated computer development work...I'll miss him dearly.
David, wherever you are, i hope you are at peace...I'll be thinking of you, and will miss you my friend.
