David and Jill have been our neighbors for over twenty years. We have always appreciated David's kindness, gentle sense of humor, and easy-going spirit. He was always working in the yard and we had to pass in front of their home on the way to/from the mailbox. We could always count on David for a chipper "hello" and fun bantor. He was an amazing human being and will be missed.

Gary and I are heartbroken to hear the news of Dave's passing. Our hearts are full of concern and prayers as your precious family begins this journey of mourning. May your sorrow be softened by reminders of how much Dave lives on in each of the lives he's touched. He left this earth having known love, as giver and a receiver. Now, in God's embrace, he knows the true magnitude of that love.

I met David 39 years ago. He was an OS Salesperson. We did so many trainings together. He was so much fun.
He had called me just 2 days before his passing and asked if I´d do him a favor and work with his son in Boise when I was there.
I will definitely keep that promise.

I remember him always.

I had the privilege of acquiring one of David's sales territories when he became Huttig's Director of National Accounts. I remember travelling with him over the course of two weeks to make introductions and meet the people he had known and worked with over the years. I'll always remember how engaged he was with our customers and how much respect they had for David. That was 2013. A week has not gone by in last 12 years that someone hasn't asked how David was doing or asked me to say hello to him the next time I saw him. David was a great mentor.

I worked in the Huttig STL office and when I had a vendor question related to the Auburn branch( which was not often) Dave was always quick to take my call, listen and provide a solution. A tremendously nice man who I remember fondly. My sincere condolences to Dave´s family. Sheryl Munz

Jill, Tyson and Taylor, David always spoke so highly of you all. He truly loved you. We often shared stories about our families; he would grin, then full smile, with twinkle in his eyes. He was so positive and full of joy. He will be missed. Love Matt and Michelle
