I'm still in shock that Mr Sugar passed away. He was one of the most beloved patients we ever had on 6W/8NW. He would often joke that he was the 'oldest' boyfriend I would ever have. Such a kind, sweet and lovable man. Every nurse on the unit would find at least 5-10 minutes in their day to sit with him. My condolences go out to all his family and friends. You are great people.

Hi Rozie and Leonard. Reading this guest book and seeing how many, many people just loved Uncle Dave so very much is just a small tribute to the most wonderful Uncle I will never forget. I hope your mom and dad are with mine. Love you, Carrie

Dear Roz and Leonard,
I have so many fond memories of "Uncle Dave". He was one of the last people who still called me Elaynie. He lived such a long and prosperous life, survived by so many loving family members. He couldn't have lived a prouder life. He is now with Auntie Mattie and Phil in a happier place.

To all of the Shugar family- We will never forget Dave. He was-without a doubt- one of the most special people ever. To know him was an honor. The Mississiquoi days with Dave are unforgettable and he will always remain my "Shugar Daddy"!Most sincerely,

Dear Roslyn and Leonard,
This morning I was shocked to read of your father's passing, only two days after that of my dear mother Esther Black and with their funerals both tomorrow. Considering our common memories of the happy days at Mississquoi Bay, this is an amazing and sad coincidence. Your father was a fine man, always nice to his children's friends, whom he loved to take water skiing and fishing. About 18 months ago, I met him with Roslyn at the Cavendish Mall and he remembered my worried mother asking him whether this new activity of waterskiing was "safe".
Marsha and I are very sorry for your loss.
