David Slusser Obituary
He attended school at Hope Lutheran School, New Life Assembly, and Kings Academy. He later went into the Job Corp. Then he went on to college at I.S.U., and DeVry Institute in Arizona. He worked for awhile in Nevada.
He was a member of the Baptist Church, the Puppet Ministry, and was very active in the church groups and bible studies and was a witness of Jesus Christ. David was on fire for the Lord. He would run into people and tell them about Jesus. When David was younger he did the puppets with Virginia Berg and All Gods Children to which David enjoyed doing.
He enjoyed bead work and crocheting. David was a very loving and caring man. He was a very Christian man and witnessed to a lot of people.
Survivors include his mom, Sherry K. Renek of Idaho Falls; brother, Daniel Slusser of Idaho Falls; and grandma, Edna Flynn of Idaho Falls. He was preceded in death by his father, and three grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2015, at Calvary Baptist Church, 785 E. 1st Street in Idaho Falls, with Pastor Matt McGukin, officiating. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery in Idaho Falls. Online condolences may be left at www.buckmillerhann.com.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Hope Lutheran School, 2071 12th Street, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83404.
