David SOUCIE Obituary

Published by Windsor Star on Oct. 28, 2013.
SOUCIE, David Allen
61 years. Dave passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, October 25, 2013 at his home. Eldest son of the late Lionel D. Soucie (1969), and Joyce M. Soucie (Connoy) (2007). Brother of Susan, (Frank), Jim, (Kim) & Cheryl. Father of Lee, (Mary), and Julie, (Ron). Dave was most proud of his grandchildren Anthony, Andrew, Janelle and McKenzie and will be missed by his nephews Dwayne, Chris, Brian, his nieces Jaime and the late Stephanie (1995), whom he held close to his heart as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. David had a passion for reading, writing and sports (especially the Oakland Raiders) which led him to many places throughout his travels. In keeping with David's wishes, a private family gathering was held followed by cremation. His cremated remains will be laid to rest with his parents at St. Alphonsus Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations can made to the Windsor-Essex County Humane Society by contacting the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre at (519) 254-3223. Dearest Susan, Jim & Cheryl - My brother Tom called me from Windsor today to tell me of David's passing. I have not been back to Windsor since the late 80's so it's been so long since I've seen any of my family. I'm so sorry to hear about David's passing. He is in my prayers and may he be in peace now for all eternity. May God bless each of you at this time. Your loving cousin, Jo-Anne Coyle now living in Wimberley, Texas.

RIP David.
