There are days when I think to myself, 'Oh I should tell Dad that' then I remember you're gone and I have to catch my breath. Dad you are missed...

I worked for Dave at OHSC in my early career. He was a wonderful supervisor - fair, honest and with a wonderful sense of humour. A real humanitarian. My condolences to the family.

..the light of Dave's accomplishments still shines on

Sandra, I am unsure what is proper here, but I do know, as sister-in-law, that you are suffering a tremendous personal loss. Please accept my heartfelt sadness for this wonderful man known these forty-eight years.

I worked with Dave for the last 10 years as his Instructional Designer for the online course he taught at the U of R. He was a great teacher; students would send Dave e-mails to tell him how much they enjoyed his course. He was a wonderful person, and I'll miss working with him.

Dave will be missed by all who knew him. For me personally, Diamond Dave always made me feel welcome in his home, and was always upbeat. He always had a smile on his face and made me laugh every time we saw each other.

My deepest sympathies to James, Matt, Sandra, Sarah, Jennifer, Melissa, Amanda and Melanie and the rest of the family.

Sarah, siblings and family, Joan and I offer our deepest sympathies on the passing of David. Dave's presence and work made the world a better place. I have many fond memories of time spent with Dave, many in a tin boat sharing his passion for fishing. God bless, be proud and cherish the memories.
