Dave, my older classmate from DAU. We found out we were distant cousins while at DSU. I sent you a b'day greeting. My condolences to your family. RIP.

My Baby Brother, the day you left me (April 21,2018), my whole world came crushing down, I still can't believe that you are gone, but I know to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I know God doesn't make a mistake, on that of April 21st, God saw your sickness and he said come to me I will give you rest. So my dear Baby Brother take your eternal rest in your Heavenly mansion. I am saddened by the loss of this wonderful man, Mr. Dave Wharton. He was always projected a bright light and an energetic presence wherever he landed. A gentleman and a caring individual, Dave could be counted on to extend a kind word and a helping hand. He will be sorely missed down here; however, we know that Earth's loss is Heaven's gain. May he Rest in Paradise until we all meet again.

Mr. Wharton was my Homeroom teacher in Camden High class of 1981. He was always pleasant, smiling, helpful, respectful and dressed nice and professional. He was one of our best teachers. He use to call me "bright eyes" all through school and when ever he saw me because I have light green eyes. May the Lord God receive him and Say "Well Done"
