David Leroy Zinn, Jr., 57, of Caldwell, passed away August 30, 2013, at College Station Medical Center in College Station. Funeral Services are set for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 7, 2013, at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell. Interment will follow at Chriesman Cemetery in Caldwell. Visitation is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, September 6, 2013, also at Strickland Funeral Home. David was born January 20, 1956 to David Leroy Zinn, Sr. and Mary E. (Cotton) Zinn in Houston, Texas. David is survived by his wife; Sonya Graves Zinn of Caldwell; his mother, Mary E. Zinn of Caldwell; son and daughter-in-law, David Joseph Zinn and April Waters Zinn of Caldwell; daughters, Ann Thompson of Spring, Texas, Sarah Traylor of Friendswood, Kristin Graves of Caldwell; sister-in-law, Vanessa Zinn; sister and brother-in-law, Amie and John Gamble; grandchildren, Sapphire Kay Zinn, Videlia Zinn, Monica Zinn, Xavier Zinn, Jared, Bradley, Dylan, Madyson, Jordyn; mother and father-in-law, Fred L. and Dee E. Graves. He is preceded in death by his father; David L. Zinn, and brother, Terry Lee Zinn. Pallbearers will be Guadalupe G. Molina III, John T. Gamble, Fred L. Graves, Roger D. Johnson, Ken Lemley, and David Joseph Zinn, with Red Weiss and Terry Lee Zinn serving as honorary pallbearers. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Strickland Funeral Home of Caldwell.
