Dear Dana, Joel and friends:
I am so sorry and so sad to hear about Dawn. She gave me, Janet and Kathy many fond and happy memories of our years spent as roommates at Penn State. I can't help but remember funny times when I think of her - like Dawn walking around the dorms (even the boys' dorms) in her one-piece pjs with built-in feet. I remember having her 21st surprise birthday party at ChuckECheese and I remember sledriding on Roy Rogers food trays some snowy evenings at midnight with Bill and Eric. There were so many fun times with Dawn in college - times I will never forget. We have all been blessed to have known and loved her. She will be sadly missed.

Dana, Joel, & Family:
I was so saddened today to hear of Dawn's passing. I try to find the words to express my heartfelt sympathy to you all. Through this difficult time, I remember many, many fond memories of Dawn while we were roommates at Penn State. Amazingly, about an hour before I got the call from Katie, I remembered how we surprised Dawn on her 21st birthday by blindfolding her and stowing her in the back of my car to take her to Chuck E. Cheese. Dawn will be sadly missed but remembered always.
My thoughts and prayers are with you,
Alayne Lowenberger

Dear Joel: It is so very hard at times like this to say anything that will even come close to expressing the sorrow that we feel at your loss. The best that I can do is to say that you as well as your family will be in our prayers and that you can always let me know if there is anything I can do for you. May the Lord Bless and keep you always. Today and always, may loving memories bring you strength, comfort, and peace.
With a Heavy Heart, Tom & Cheryl
