Dawn Marie Hunneyman

Dawn Marie Hunneyman (Vaughn), aged 54, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed from this life into the next on June 16, 2024. Born to the late Nancy Moats, Merle Vaughn, and stepfather Russell Moats on November 18, 1969, she was the embodiment of grace and compassion throughout her life.

Educated at North Hagerstown High School, Dawn's vocational path led her to Holly Place, where she served with great dedication and care. Her work there was not just a job but a calling, as she sought to improve the lives of those around her.

A devout and active member of Bethel Assembly of God, Dawn's faith was a source of strength and inspiration to all who knew her. She lived her beliefs through acts of kindness and a commitment to her spiritual community.

Dawn's memory is treasured by her sister, Julia Johnson, and her husband, Kenny; brother, Walter Vaughn, and his wife, Tawana and Hannah Gurl; sister, Dawn Mills; stepsister, Kathy Griffith, her husband, Mike, and their children; and her beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her life was also enriched by her significant other, Ron Humbert. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Sadie and Norman Edleblute, and Emily and Leon Vaughn, as well as several aunts and uncles.

The service to honor Dawn's life will be observed at Bethel Assembly of God 400 Miller Street in Chambersburg, PA. Service starts promptly at 11am, July 26th, 2024. The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the church in her memory.

Dawn's gentle spirit, steadfast faith, and the love she shared will remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her. Her legacy will continue to inspire acts of charity and fellowship in the community she so dearly loved.
