DAWNA
Of Venetia, on April 2, 2013. Dawna was the beloved wife of 42 years of Lawrence Hartman; dear daughter of Warren and Margaret Leonhardt; caring mother of Ian C. Hartman and the late Courtney Hartman (Simon) Girling; doting grandmother of Konstantine Haritos; sister of Rocky (Kathy) Leonhardt and Jeffrey (Donna) Leonhardt; and also survived by many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends. Dawna retired after 34 years as a teacher in the Baldwin-Whitehall School District. She was a master gardener, loved flowers, and enjoyed time spent at her home in The Villages, FL as well. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUERS, 724-941-3211. A memorial service to celebrate Dawna's life will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the First Bethel United Methodist Church, 5901 Library Rd., Bethel Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Dawna's memory to the Adamsville Baptist Church, 4839 E. County Rd. 468, Wildwood, FL 34785 or to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I was Dawna's roommate at Edinboro State College her freshman year, a sorority sister and was in her wedding to Larry. She was the best: caring, warm and loving even those many years ago. I grieve with the family and am truly sad we never had a chance to reconnect. My deepest condolences for your loss of this great spirit and woman.

So sorry to hear the news of Dawna. God bless you Larry and the family. Her battle with the leukemia is done and she is now free of her pain and suffering.
