Dean CLAUSEN Obituary
Dean passed away at the age of 81 having lived in Regina all his life. In his earlier years as an Air Cadet he learned to fly, and then had a career with the Dept. of Mineral Resources. Dean later became actively involved helping the Regina Little Theatre which he thoroughly enjoyed, and has been honoured by a scholarship in his name. Photography has always been one of his favourite activities. Dean will be remembered by a brother Larry (Iris) in Edmonton; sister Linda in Regina; and sister-in-law Vicki in Calgary. Dean always enjoyed seeing his cousins, and playing with his nephews and niece. He was predeceased by a brother, Ken, and a sister Marlene. Assisted by Victoria Ave Funeral Home, a private family interment and remembrance will be held at Riverside Memorial Park, 815 Assiniboine Avenue East, Regina on Monday October 3, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Regina Little Theatre in Dean's name, or to a charity of your choice. I knew Dean for the seven years I was with Regina Little Theatre, 1980-87. He was a fine carpenter, reliable and conscientious. None of the shows would have been the same without his contribution. God bless you, Dean! Enjoy a well-deserved rest!
