Jim was our neighbor to our left for many years when we lived in Minerva Park. I remember him being such a nice guy. . always smiling and such a happy fellow. He worked hard in his drive in store just down the street! He always met me half way in our yard and always talked about life and politics! He always had a story to tell and I always seemed to laugh after he was done telling it! A pleasant memory or two and wanted to tell all of his loved ones how much I appreciated his friendship!

To my old friend and neighbor, Jim. We had the pleasure of sharing a little bit of our lives with Jim and his family. As many of you have said already, his smile and laughter were infectious. He had so many stories to tell! I just found out about Jim's passing. . ten years later.. but it's bringing back some great memories. .

Julie and family,
Ernie will always be the greatest elephant hunter of all time in my mind. Tonight I will eat an entire onion and go to bed in his memory.
Can't say he didn't have a good time. How could you not love the guy. He'll have me laughing until the end.

I will always remember Jim as someone who always had a, "Come in, sit down and stay awhile," approach with everyone he knew. He always had a story to share, which almost always had us all laughing. Thank you for making us feel welcome. And for sharing your open heart with my family!
