Eleanore Kudey Obituary
Kudey, Eleanore Sabo Kudey age 75 of Stratford the beloved wife of the late Edmund A. Kudey Sr. of 53 years passed away peacefully on November 11, 2013 in her residence with her loving family by her side. Eleanore was born on January 16, 1938 in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late John and Mary Rechtorik Sabo. She attended St. John Nepomucene Commercial School, University of Bridgeport, University of Bridgeport Law School and worked as a realtor and self-employed attorney in Stratford at Kudey Law Firm. Eleanore loved to travel and cherished spending time with her adored grandchildren which she spoke of on a regular basis. She is survived by two sons Edmund A. Kudey Jr. and wife Kristine of Danville, California and Eric C. Kudey and wife Courtney of Trumbull, five grandchildren Edmund A. Kudey III, Thomas A. Kudey, Hawley A. Kudey, Elizabeth (Libby) Kudey and Mallory C. Kudey, one brother Rev. Gerald J. Sabo S.J. of University Heights Cleveland, one sister Anne M. Neudeck and husband Albert of Black Rock and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday November 18, 2013 at 10:30 AM directly in Our Lady of Grace Church 497 Second Hill Lane Stratford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Gerald Sabo S.J. brother of Eleanore. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery Trumbull. Friends may call at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home 2220 Main Street Stratford Sunday from 4:00 - 7:00 PM. We loved Eleanore at Real Estate Two....She was a great Realtor as well as attorney and was always available to answer questions. A few years ago while doing our CE classes we got into trouble for talking about "The Good Wife" during class. She loved that show. Eleanore was always so much fun to be around. She will be missed by many! Our condolences to the family.

To the Kudey family, your mother, grandmother, sister, etc. was a kind hearted women. She closed my new home in 2000 and I had the pleasure of making her acquaintance a few more times since. Loved talking with her. She mad me laugh. Peace be with you all!

A Great loss for all those who knew & worked with her. I was privileged to work under her & she was a close personal friend to us. She will be missed more than words can express. GOD Bless her on her way up to meet my wife they will have life eternal.

Eleanore was a gracious lady and always very professional in her dealings with fellow attorneys. I am sorry that I will be away until a date after the funeral so I am unable to personally express my condolences at her wake, but I know that I will miss her and feel fortunate that I have had the opportunity to know her and work with her on numerous occasions in the past and she will always serve as a fine example for all members of the practicing bar in this area. May her memory always be a blessing to her family and to all who have had the opportunity to know and work with her over these past years.
