Dean Rollins Obituary

I only met Dean 10 years ago but in the last few years we became really close friends. I will cherish the time we spent together and thanks for helping me when I needed it Dino, you were a good friend!

We will remember many great times with Dean and cherish the memories - Drag races, Welding seats at Kieth's, cruising in "Rundown", Street Rod Nats, car shows, Gopher State Timing Association meetings, the Rat Gasser, Meet the Beetles, Back to the 50's, reunion football game, borrowing the car dolly and many more.

We were truly saddened by Dean's passing. He was a wonderful friend and neighbor to our family. We are remembering his family in our prayers.

Dean was a good friend and a good man. I have met very few other men who were willing to share there time and talents with so many (me included). I will miss Dean greatly. My prayer is for his family and friends that they may know the comfort, love, and grace of Jesus Christ in their time of grieving, morning, and joy in their lives and to continue on with the good works that Dean had done selflessly for so many years. Grace and peace and love to all of you.

Dean was a true Beater Boy. He was an excellent body man and painter, he did several cars for me over the years. But he also enjoyed building rat rods, which we all did at the start of our car club.
Dean your quiet style, friendly smile, and incredible knowledge of all early cars wont be forgotten. Car events wont be the same without you being there.

Dean you will be greatly missed, in the years I have known him I never seen him with out a smile and one of the nicest guys you ever could meet. RIP good friend.

May the Beaters of the past bring you to your next journey and the Boys of yesteryear welcome you like an old friend.
