Deanna Lorenz Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 7, 2025.

Deanna Christine Lorenz lost her valiant battle with cancer October 20, 2024. The youngest child of Sophie and Henry Lorenz, she is pre-deceased by her parents and her brothers, Daniel and Gilson.

A graduate of Pratt Institute, Deanna began her career at TIME-LIFE books in New York and moved to the magazine division where she quickly rose through the ranks to become a Creative Director at SPORTS ILLUSTRATED. Her work won a whole host of design awards and she was considered a brilliant innovator who had the respect of top management as well as her peers. She went on to forge a lucrative design enterprise with her business partner, Mo Strom, and eventually went solo where she continued to excel in creating direct response creatives and winning design solutions which successfully shaped brands in every industry.

She is survived by her loving sister-in-law, Joan, her devoted nephews Brian, Keith and his wife Jen, great-nephew Nicholas and two great nieces Sophie and Katelyn, her beloved cousin Bonnie and Bonnie's wonderful husband, Wayne along with a host of friends who will miss her every day. Her interment is in Holy Sepulchre Cemetary , Cheltenham PA, where she joins her mother and grandmother.

She is beautiful & smart & she was a very good friend while I worked at TIME & afterwards. She had humor & loved people. She got through lots is hardships in life & she always shined in spite of all. She will be missed by me. I carry her & her memory in my mind & heart. She was loved & people loved being around her. Fly high in heaven with the LORD & all those who went before you. I pray I will see you again. Luv you. Irene Crea
