We did not know Debbie personally. My wife and I were introduced to Mark G.s marriage seminar from our Pastor recently. I was looking up Mark and Debbie and hoping to send a very big thank you, my heart feels broken that we never had a chance to meet her.
Prayers. May God continue to bless her.

Pastor Mark,
My wife and I are a part of a small group in our church which is comprised of VERY close friends that I have known for over 20 years. In this small group, we have watched Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage more times than we can count and definitely many more times than any other small group seminar our group has ever watched. We were all completely shocked and hurt at the news of the passing of your wife Debbie. We've all been praying for you and we all want you to know that our thoughts and our hearts are with you. Also, please know that if you are ever in the Los Angeles area, you always have friends here. Feel free to contact me, my email is included below. Much love to you and your family.

Pastor Mark, The day before Thanksgiving, 2017, my sister in law died after a 12 year battle with breast cancer which eventually travelled to her bones, liver and brain. The pain for her was unimaginable. Her death was peaceful and comforting to us who know we will see her in Heaven.
My heart goes out to you in the loss of your wife Debbie. We have found that the suffering is now on those loved ones who are still on this earth since Debbie now is in the presence of her Lord and no longer enduring the pain of cancer. May God comfort you with His loving embrace as you learn to navigate a world without your wife in it.

Pastor Mark and Family,
I have been watching your sermons online for years now and have attended three of your marriage seminars, at which I have had the good fortune to meet and talk with both Debbie and you. How fortunate this world was to have a beautiful human being like Debbie in it and how fortunate the two of you spent your lives bringing God's word to the world with such humor, love and determination. It isn't fair that Debbie was taken away so young, but life is never fair. The legacy she has left behind is a priceless treasure and how lucky the world had her as long as it did.
I can't even imagine the pain you are all suffering at this time, but we cry for ourselves when someone we love dies. Debbie is delighting the heck out of God now and I'll bet she's having a blast.
With condolences and sincere appreciation for all the Gungor family has given to me and countless thousands,
Lori W. - NJ

debi and I will always remember Debbie's smiling face and gracious spirit. Because both debi and Debbie were pregnant at the time, they shared a special bond when we were traveling throughout Europe together and smuggling Bibles behind the Iron Curtain. We know that Debbie was an invaluable aide to Mark in their remarkable ministry. Please know that the family is in our prayers.

I will always cherish any time I have spent with Debbie. She was an amazing Mom, teacher, and a friend to so many. Much love to Mark, Phillip, Leslie, and all the rest of the family. You are in our prayers.
