I remember her knitting on her break at work. And I loved watching her. When I told her I wanted to learn, she told me to buy some sticks and yarn and she would teach me. She did. She was so much fun. All the jokes we shared. And then hugs sometimes. Thank you for all time to have her in my life. I was changed for the better because I knew her. Much love and prayers

We made so many memories over the years, had so much fun together, taking sewing classes, quilting classes and getting caught in the ice storm in Oak Ridge. We went to quilt shows, retreats and of course, shopping. When I was new to the area she taught me about Knoxville. She helped spoil my son, he loves her dearly and I took her to OB visits before Megan was born. Then the last few years, many long phone calls. I´m really going to miss that. I watched her fight unimaginable health issues. I would think, if I could only make her laugh, instead she would make me laugh. I take comfort in knowing she´s now without pain in a brand new body.

I met Debbie through my neighbors the Hosking´s. She was funny. She was kind. She was creative and above all she adored and was so proud of her precious daughter Meghan.

We will always be grateful for Debbie introducing us to chopped strawberries (not sliced) atop delicious shortbread. Our few dinners together were memorable and warm. May God bless you and comfort you, Megan and Rick. Charlie and Kathryn Beach
