Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 26, 2024.
Westmoreland - Deborah Ann (Moroney) Galanos of Westmoreland, New Hampshire died on June 7, 2024 at Maplewood Nursing Home in Westmoreland, New York after a long illness. She was 67 years old.

She is survived by her two beloved children, Meghan Voelsing and Daniel J. Galanos, as well as her dear friend, Bernard Gaudreau and her brother, Monsignor James P. Moroney.

Her many friends will remember her dedication to early childhood education, especially through her many years of providing child care and teaching in Head Start. Her good and gentle presence will be missed by everyone who knew her.

All are invited to Saint Cecilia Church, 170 Mechanic Street in Leominster, Massachusetts, for a Month's Mind Mass, followed by a light reception in the rectory on Friday, July 12th at 11am.

In lieu of flowers, you are invited to consider a contribution to your favorite children's charity.
