Deborah Munsell Hartz
Mrs. Hartz, 63, of Cornelius, NC, died Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at her residence. Born January 8, 1941, in Morristown, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Robert Edwin and Grace Brodeen Munsell. Mrs. Hartz was member and past President of Zonta, member and past President of the Ridgewood, NJ, Rotary Club, Board of Directors for the Gilda Radner Society, Board of Directors for the YWCA in Ridgewood, NJ, and Board of Directors at Bergen Community College in Paramus, NJ.
She is survived by her children, Denise Gies and husband, Doug, of Mooresville, Raymond E. Hartz III, of San Francisco, CA, and Tracy Roer and husband, Harold, of Huntersville; sister, Susan Jacobsen, of Milford, NY; grandchildren, Austin Gies and Evan Roer; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 16, 2004, at the Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel, Mooresville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309.
Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville, is serving the family of Mrs. Hartz.
