Deborah Gay Luckett, 55, of Owensboro passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at her home. Born in Dyer, TN on January 5, 1955, she retired as an insurance agent. Mrs. Luckett worked for Monumental Insurance, Prudential Securities, and Metropolitan Insurance servicing investment, insurance and mutual fund needs. She also was a representative and manager for the Central Colorado Planning traveling to many locations including Denver, San Diego, Dallas, and Phoenix setting up entire insurance office settings including hiring and training sales agents. Mrs. Luckett enjoyed gourmet cooking, arts and crafts, and reading.
Surviving are her husband of 15 years, Tom Luckett; her mother and step-father, Dorothy and James Bradford of Paris, TN; her father, Wayne Hanks of Jackson, TN; a brother, Michael (Dorothy) Hanks of Humbolt, TN; a sister, Denise (Wayne) Teal of Jackson, TN; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Services are 6 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2010 in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be in Yorkville Cemetery, Yorkville, TN at noon on December 24, 2010. Visitation will be from 1-6 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society Memorial Fund, 11700 Commonwealth Dr., Louisville, KY 40299.
