When You Left
This reality is so unlike anything I expected.
This pain; so overwhelming, deep, and keen I will never forget.
It colors all around me; sight, sound, feelings, thoughts.
I can't seem to catch my breath from the shock.
This arrived out of nowhere, so quick, so unnecessary.
Creating this vast sea of nothingness between the before and after.
My Dear Debbie, I miss you so much and can't seem to truly believe you are gone from this world. My dearest Cuz, I will honor our shared conversations, trips, and times together. There was no other like you. Your Cuz.
