Debra Jane Blood went home with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and loved ones who passed before her, on February 24th, 2021. She bravely fought a difficult battle with Cancer and MS. She left us too soon at the age of 56. Debra was a one of a kind, caring, loving, outspoken, give you her last dollar, faithful and genuine spirit. She had a legendary sense of humor. Her telltale "HAH!" was recognizable by all who loved her. She was born on November 16, 1964 in Three Rivers, Michigan, to parents Duward F Blood and Ramona (Welburn) Blood. She was raised on Fisher Lake, a place most special to her. Recently, she visited the lake, and spent a memorable day there with friends she grew up with, and shared a day she cherished greatly. Debra was preceded in death by her parents, her brother David Charles Blood, and her husband Dennis Bujanowski. She left a family who loved her dearly. Among them her son Timothy David Beckwith, a daughter, Sarah Jane Beckwith, both of Easley, SC; her long time love, Les Rayfield, of Easley, SC, a stepson, Evan (Gary) Smith of Camp Croft, SC, a stepdaughter, Afton Rayfield of Greenville, SC; brothers Gary (Linda) Blood, of Three Rivers, Michigan, and Glenn(Mary Ellen), of Emery, TX, a sister-in-love, Nancy Ann Blood, of Port Richey, FL; and grandchildren, Timothy Lucas Beckwith, Amelia Jane Mansell, Avery Bach, and Logan Bach. Debra worked as a Customer Service Representative for BCD Travel for 20 years. She enjoyed working with her hands and made beautiful crafts. She took great care with every creation. Debra was also a published author who shared her journey through widowhood with the world. She did it with humor, courage and inspiring faith. She taught us how to remember loved ones lost with a smile, and laughter that breaks through the tears. She lived by that example, her strength was an inspiration then, and every day after. Debra lived and loved out loud, with a deep faith in the Lord that carried her through many struggles. Despite the hardships that came her way, she remained grateful for all she had, especially her family and many friends, who loved her dearly. Among those she loved the longest and strongest, her brothers Gary and David. She looked up to them and was quite proud to be their "Seester". Les was her constant companion, their love remained strong through joy and heartache. He, along with her children, helped care for Debra when she was diagnosed with MS, and again when she was stricken with cancer. She passed away surrounded by their comforting love. If Debra loved you, you knew it. She loved her children, and grandchildren most of all. Her grandchildren are all under 10 years old; but it's a certainty that they will carry her with them, and remember how it was to be loved by Debra Jane Blood, their "Comma", the rest of their lives. She loved her children fiercely. She often said they were the best of her. She leaves them a legacy of love at its strongest and most strident. Debra's sweet, funny, spirit lives on through them. A bright light was extinguished here when our DebJane went to her heavenly home. In its place is a lifetime of memories. Stories that will be shared with a laugh and a smile, through tears, (the way she taught us) and with hearts grateful to have been blessed by the love and friendship of Debra Jane Blood. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Deb was my sister's (Marilyn Gardner) friend and mine later in life I remember many times them hanging out with my sister at our house in Tamarac. The laughter was contagious and the music. I always wanted to be part of that as a little sister. Recently over the last few years Deb and I grew a friendship and talked many times through facebook and messenger. Her spirit through adversity, grief and illness is something to learn from. I am grateful to have known her both in early years and now. God bless you all I will be praying for your comfort and peace.
May God support you and hold you. With love from our house to yours Julie (Gardner) Arch and the Arch Family
