Debra Ann (Wasson) Lawrence, 57, of Clyde, NC passed away December 3, 2015. She was born on November 5, 1958.

She worked as an Senior IT Analyst for Caterpillar in Peoria, IL for 15 years before relocating to Caterpillar Building Construction Products Division in Raleigh, NC and Leicester UK. Following retirement, Debra and her husband relocated to Clyde, NC.

Debra was a Master Gardener in Haywood County. She loved her family. She put her heart and soul into everything that she did, whether it was in the garden or in her home.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Willcoxen and father, Ronald Gene Wasson.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Chas Lawrence; step mother, Norma Wasson; son, Christopher Pence and grandson, Jaden Pence of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; four step children, Chad (Ruby) Lawrence of AZ, Chaille Clemmons of Winston Salem, NC, Christiaan (Michelle) Lawrence of IL, Canaan (Rachel) Lawrence of MI; step grandchildren, London Lawrence, Jessica Mack, Zoe and Lucas Lawrence, Savannah, Reece, and Rhett Clemmons, Brittany Krewer and Brady Lawrence and Mason, Jack, and Ava Lawrence; and two great grandsons.

The family will have a private gathering to celebrate her life.
