Dear Spear Family, I am so sorry about hearing of Ray's passing. He was a great guy and I enjoyed talking with him. My grandfather told me that when he moved here from Pawtucket Rhode Island at age 14 and entered West Side High School that Ray was the first one and only one to walk right up to him and befriend him. He said that Ray was his best friend ever since. My condolences to you and your family.

Like many others, I too had the privilege and honor working with Ray at the town. I was blessed to work as his assistant and then through his mentoring follow in his footsteps as the Town Accountant. I will truly miss his kindness, wisdom and fatherly advice he gave to me over the years.

Was so very sad to learn about Ray's death. He was a true gentleman and will be missed by many! I especially enjoyed serving on the W.S. Credit Union's supervisory committee with him.

Ray, my mentor,my co-worker, my dear friend for over 25 years.
So pleased we were able to talk over the phone just last week
But sadly our monthly phone calls will be sadly missed. Until we meet again may you rest in God's hands.
