Debra Overley Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Nov. 16 to Nov. 21, 2023.
Debra "Debbie" Ann Overley, 67, of Zionsville, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.

Debbie was born in Denver, Colorado on November 19, 1955, a daughter of the late Dr. Ross A. and Barbara (Sweitzer) Overley. She graduated from Zionsville High School as a member of the class of 1975.

Halloween was her favorite holiday and October was her favorite month as she loved all things horror movies, especially Dark Shadows. She loved reading books, collecting comic books including Spider-Man and Batman and loved all things Marvel. She was a collector of many things, but above all, she loved her dog, Pepsi-Cola, and her family.

Survivors include her sister, Canda Smith; nephews: Christopher (Alecia) Worman Monett and Kyle (Hilary) Worman; niece: Nicole (Robert) Kouns; and great nieces and nephews: Rhett and Marlee Worman Monett, Hayley and Caden Kouns, and Jacob and Elliott Worman. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bruce Overley and a great-niece, Indie Worman Monett.

She was always there for her great nieces and nephews, always taking them places and doing things with them. She will be greatly missed by her family and her dear friends, Tonya and Ruth. There will be no formal services at this time, but a celebration of her life will take place among family and friends.

Services have been entrusted to Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Care, Zionsville Chapel.
