Debra Wickberg Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 7, 2025.
Debra (Debbie) Wickberg passed away on April 23, 2025, in Saint Augustine, Florida. She was 70 years old. Born on May 30, 1954, in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, she was the daughter of William Wickberg and Irene Maskall.

Debbie worked in accounts receivables for various companies for most of her career. She also was the owner of a limousine company in the 1980's. She was a people person and loved to talk and make friends with just about everyone. She was a kind and generous soul.

One of her favorite things to do was to shop, especially for things to decorate her home. She also loved music. Pink Floyd was her absolute favorite and Debbie would attend their concerts in her bright pink leather jacket. She enjoyed parties and get togethers, and over the years made many life long friends which included Joy, Lauren and Angela among others.

She leaves behind her son David William Johnson, two sisters-Donna Miller (Glenn Miller) and Denise Winton (Ben Winton), three nieces, Megan, Jenna and Kelly, as well as four grand-nieces and nephews.

Debbie was a wonderful Mom to her son David. As he says "She was the best Mother I could ever have wished for, showing unwavering love and friendship to me. I will miss her terribly."

She was a true Viking to the end. We will all miss you Debbie. Rest in Peace. Love you.

Debbie,
Happy Heavenly Mothers Day.
I wish we had known each other better. I do remember going to Grandmom Wickbergs house when I was a little girl, and seeing you there.
I'm glad you reconnected with my mom. I know she enjoyed your phone calls.
Rest in Peace.
Your cousin
Kim

I have missed my best friend since you moved away. We had some great times together. My heart broke the day you passed away,
I am grateful we found the friendship and sister some people never would know.
You and Dave were my extended family.
We will always remember the good times
With tears in our eyes as we reminisce .
Always loved,
Donna, Al, Chrissy, myself and the twins
