I have just learned of Denean's passing. She was a remarkable woman . . . one of intelligence, grace, passion and love for her children.

My heartfelt thanks to everyone who has posted their condolences. There is no easy way to move on from the loss of a loved one but your words of support and the memories we share makes it easier to come to terms with the void that has been left behind with Denean'a passing.

My wife and I extend our condolences to the family. I felt very privileged to have known her. To the children, I have felt it an honour to have taught you in elementary school. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you. Demean was a gift from God, now she is a gift to God.
