Peacefully, Sunday, July 13, 2014, at the age of 65. Loving husband of Lesley (White) for 43 years. Devoted father of Gary (Megan), Karen (Christian) Shea and Steven. Cherished grandfather of Thomas and Adam. Youngest son of the late Henri and Reta Chouinard. Dear brother of the late Jean (Leo) Parent, Gerald (Mary) Chouinard, Beverley (Barrie) Stewart, Theresa (ReJean) Vanasse, Shirley (Gus) Simard, Norma Chouinard (Lionel Lamoureux), the late Lloyd (Cindy) Chouinard, Carson (Judy) Chouinard, Vivian Hill (Paul Kendrik), Anne (David) Harrigan. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and long-time friends. Very special thank you to all the caring personnel at the Ottawa Hospital Dialysis Units. I am so sorry to hear this news. It came as quite a shock as I was just talking to him a couple of weeks ago. I have so many good memories with Denis and all of you. Sorry I was not able to attend the services due to my health issues at the moment but I was there in spirit. Rest well Denis and we'll meet again one day.

We are so sorry to hear of Denis's passing. Although we did not get to know him well, his presence will be missed at Arlor Haven Campground.
