Denis MAISONNEUVE Obituary
Peacefully with his family by his side, on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, Denis Maisonneuve, of Bourget formerly of Fournier, Ontario, at the age of 63. Beloved partner of life of Gail Amyot. Dear son of the late Eugène Maisonneuve and the late Gracia Lalonde. Loving father of Manon (Marc Lalonde) and Jean-Loup (Natasha Atkins). Cherished grandfather of: Zachary, Cynthia and Joshua. Loving stepfather of: Tanya (Alex Tomlinson) and Josie (Terie Cooper); his step-grandchildren Ellie, Sophie and Leah. Dear brother of Albert (Jocelyne Beaudin) and Paul André (Fernande Jetté), Louise (Jean-Pierre Larose). Also survived by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Richard Brewer, Linda Lough (Larry Depape), Joanne (Steve Mulkins), Cathy Brewer and Kimberly Philpot (Patrick Parent). He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Predeceased by brother, Robert (Johanne Larocque); brother-in-law Michael Brewer (Brenda Lind). Friends and relatives may visit at Lamarre & Son Funeral Home, 453 St. Philippe Street, Alfred, ON, (613) 679-2802, on Monday, March 20, 2017, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 9 a.m. Funeral Service to be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Luc Church, Curran, Ontario. Interment Parish Cemetery. Special thanks to Larry for his presence and help, and also to Jean-Pierre, Albert, Linda Porter and everyone else for their support during this difficult time. For those wishing, donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation, 1500, Alta Vista Drive, Ottawa, Ontario, K1G 3Y9 would be appreciated. You have touched so many hearts and soul is pure and made of gold. You are going to be deeply missed and greatly remembered Dennis. I love you and know that you were a great fighter but now you can rest. All my love to Gail and all your family and friends. I hope Heaven has holes in its floor so you can always look down on your Beautiful Gail and give her peace and guidance.
