We met Denis on the Melksham reunion back in 2003. He invited us back to his home and gave us a tour of his studio and even had time to play his famous ‘Bells'. We always said we would love to visit him again one day; sadly it will have to be in heaven.
Every year we would send each other a Christmas card and he would let us know how he was getting on. Sadly we didn't get one this year.
Rest in peace Denis

Such a loss to our City. A man who told it like it was. Sorry I couldn't make your final curtain call Denis.

I still have memories of the Spring Festival and you leading the parade. I always wanted your legs. Maryborough has lost an icon. Thank god for gutsy people like you. All the best to your family and friends.
