I remember Denise welcoming me into the family when I married her cousin Ken. She had such a warm and welcoming spirit about her. I loved her sense of humor that was contagious. I loved the way she took care of Her family especially around Halloween! I don’t think a holiday went by that we didn’t get a card from her family and that included Halloween! Denise will be missed by so many. My heart aches for their loss. But I know one day we will see her again in Heaven. The Bible says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. So it’s not goodbye Denise it’s until we see you again. We love you. ❤

It doesn’t seem real to me. We had so much fun together. She always had a smile on her face. There are no words. I’m blessed I got to see her and she got to meet my new husband last year. I was blessed to have her in my life ❤

Denise was so warm and expansive; her son Ryan commented that she never met a stranger, and I do believe that is true. She cared about her family, but also, for the welfare of those who even casually crossed her path, a rare quality. She consistently believed in the good of others, and was eternally curious, grateful, and appreciative of the natural world. It was a gift to have her for my sister.
