Virginia C. (Andrea) Ciaciura, 85, of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., passed away Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016, at the House of the Dove, Marshfield, Wis., surrounded by her loving family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2016, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Father Tom Unz and Father Patric will officiate. Visitation will be at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, WI from 3 - 7 p.m. Tuesday. Entombment in Forest Hill Mausoleum. Please Note: There will be no public visitation on Wednesday.

Virginia was born Nov. 2, 1930, in Kenosha, Wis., to Jack and Theresa (Lucchetti) Andrea. She married Harry J. Ciaciura on Nov. 5, 1955, at St. James Catholic Church in Kenosha, WI.

Virginia graduated from Mount Mary University in Wauwatosa, Wis., and was an occupational therapist at St. Luke's Presbyterian Hospital in Chicago, Ill., for five years. She was a member of the Mount Mary Alumni Association and the St. Vincent de Paul PCCW. She enjoyed playing bridge, reading, baking, cooking Italian meals and YMCA activities but most importantly spending time with her family.

Virginia had a dedication and devotion to the Catholic faith and set that as an example for her children.

Virginia is survived by her husband of 61 years, Harry; three daughters, Donna (Steve) Schmidt of Wausau, Wis., Carol (Jim) Bord of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., and Linda (Lee) Wyngaard of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.; four sons, Thomas (Susan) Ciaciura of Hanover Park, Ill., Mark (Dianna) Ciaciura of Appleton, Wis., Robert (Chris) Ciaciura of Atlanta, Ga., and Gregory (Firouzeh) Ciaciura of Chicago, Ill.; 16 grandchildren, Karen (Tripp) Dolman, Michael Schmidt, Laura Schmidt, Nicholas (Erin) Bord, Luke (Brittany) Bord, Jessica Bord, Ben Bord, Christopher Ciaciura, Corrie Ciaciura, Lexie Ciaciura, Allie Ciaciura, Anisa Ciaciura, Dario Ciaciura, Lisa (Brett) Jondle, Tim (Samantha) Wyngaard and Tom Wyngaard; and five great grandchildren, Ella Mae Bord, Caden Bord, James Bord, Vivian Bord and Henry Dolman.

Virginia is also survived by two sisters, Rita Noel of Indianapolis, Ind., and Theresa Crewe of Kenosha, Wis.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Matthew Andrea and Alfred Andrea and one sister, Philomena Andrea.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be designated to Assumption High School, St. Vincent de Paul Church, the YMCA or to the House of the Dove.
