Denise M. Carneiro Obituary
Denise, a lifelong Rhode Island resident, dedicated her career to the art of cosmetology instruction, spanning many years at Costin's Warwick Academy of Beauty Culture, Distinctive Touch Salon, and more recently, at Chariho Tech. Her impact extended beyond the classroom, as she was a truly exceptional educator, mentor, and cherished friend.
Denise's warm and open-hearted nature made her a beacon of support for anyone seeking guidance or simply a friendly conversation. Her door was never closed to those in need, and she greeted everyone with a welcoming smile and open arms.
Her deepest love and affections were reserved for her family, who will carry her memory in their hearts forever. She leaves behind her cherished daughter, Cristina Carneiro, sisters, Jo-An Parente, her husband Nicholas Parente, Katherine Zorabedian, her partner Gail Aguiar, as well as her niece, Colleen Taber, her husband Doug Taber, her nephew, Peter Parente, his wife Missy Parente, and her great-nephews, Thomas and Michael Moulton.
A funeral to honor Denise's life will be held at 9:30 am on Friday, September 29, 2023 from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Services will follow at 11:00 am in The Redwood Chapel, Swan Point Cemetery; 585 Blackstone Blvd, Providence, RI 02906. A visitation will be held from 4-7 pm on Thursday, September 28, 2023.
