Our condolences to Vinny and Andrea. We remember Denise fondly for her energetic and kind leadership in our community at the Center for Memory and Brain at Boston University. She guided our research community as a highly effective and insightful administrator, organizing events and center activities, welcoming students, overseeing grants, and organizing conferences at Boston University. She also played an important leadership role in overseeing the review and publication of articles for the scientific journal Hippocampus. Our whole community honors her dedication and leadership.

Dear Vinnie, Andrea, and family my heart breaks for you. Denise was one of the best friends anyone could ever ask for. She was so kind , giving, and always checking in to see whatever she could do for everyone. She was so much fun , and I had more laughs with her about everything! Days at the gym when we thought we were younger than we were, staying for every workout they offered..then crawling home in pain. I Love you Denise and I will miss you forever.
