To the family of Denise Stephens Selman:
My mother is a resident at Glen Haven Nursing home. Her room was directly across the hall from Denise's office for 2 1/2 years. Denise's loving ways, gentle smiles, and kind words greatly enhanced my mother's quality of life on a daily basis. Just last week, Denise's act of generosity made my day, (again). You see, Mom told her she'd like something 'fizzy' to drink. What did Denise do? She reached in her pocket, went down the hall and came back with a diet coke for my mother. She was always doing for others and never, ever passed up the opportunity to make someone smile. Mom and I will miss her, her smiling face, her kind ways and unspoken act of generosity. Denise did for others out of the goodness of her heart, not for recognition. My heart aches for your loss and even though I don't know you personally, you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you for sharing your loved one with us - Mom and I were blessed to know Denise. God bless you. From Cheri Smith, the daughter of Jimmie Sue Smith, a resident of Glen Haven Nursing Home.

It will be the little things
that you will remember,
the quiet moments,
the smiles, the laughter.
And although it may seem
hard right now,
it will be the memories
of these little things
that help to push
away the pain
and bring the smiles
back again.
May warm memories surround you and bring you comfort.
With Deepest Sympathy
