Dennie Strickland Obituary
He is survived by his loving family including his wife of 51 years Carolyn Strickland; three children; Lisa (Doug) Strader, Steve Strickland and Lenny Parrella, Jill (Jon) Zbonack; four grandchildren; Matthew (Isabel) Strader, Lindsey (Collin) Grotbeck, Cody Kimmel, Madeline Kimmel; three great grandchildren, Audrey, Jackson and Micah Strader; brothers and sisters, Ethel Lee "Dixie" (James) Williams, Nancy (Herschel) Barfield, Ricky (Connie) Strickland; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday (Today) at the Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 SW Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral, with burial following at Coral Ridge Cemetery. Please visit www.coralridgefuneralhome.com to leave condolences, thoughts and memories for his family. Contributions may be made to Hope Hospice, 2430 Diplomat Parkway East, Cape Coral, FL 33909.

Carolyn, Lisa, Steve and Jill.
Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Carolyn, We have so many happy memories of when we first got married and our visits with you two in Naples. I smile now when I think of those times right now. I just found out about Ottie's passing today from Blanche. We are now in Montana, and I'm so sorry we weren't there for services. Last week, on your anniversary I thought of you two again. Never a May 31st goes by that I forget the date. I know that you two had 51 wonderful years filled with memories. I'll call you later. Remember, He will always be with you and he'll be waiting for you in that wonderful place. Until then Carolyn, stay busy, go with the kids and spend time with the grandchildren. Ott would want you to go on.

I'm thankful for Otto-he said something so personal and sweet to me that I replay it often. You both blessed me so much when we were house-hunting. Glad for that experience with you both.

Carolyn my heart goes out to you & your family for your loss .... Otto was a amazing person... I know he had suffered for many years with his illness..... I know he is in a better place no more pain. Yes he will deeply be missed he filled many peoples lives with joy..... God Bless You & Your Family we will keep you in our prayers

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. We are available to the family for prayer and any thing we can do physically to help Caroline and the family. Otto was a blessing and faithful friend to me in my early life. I will never forget his influence on my life. His impact is eternal.
