Dr. Dennis Weston AsKew

Listening to the Market Street Brass Christmas CD over the holidays reminded me of what a great colleague and performer Dennis was. I feel lucky to have been a part of that group and to have shared music and laugher with him.

Devastated is not strong enough to describe my feelings when Petey called me. I was heart broken. May you all cherish the many great memories you have of him. I meant so much to me to talk with him on October 18th after Linda's service. Though we were not in close contact the last few years, he remained in my heart and mind always. Deepest Sympathies!

Joan and I are so very sorry for your loss of Dennis. He was a great friend and colleague while I was on the School of Music faculty. We shared many wonderful times as members of the Market Street Brass,
making music and enjoying each other's company. I am glad to have known him; he was a gifted and accomplished musician, but above all a really good man.
