Dennis Bumbaugh Obituary
He was the son of Dennis O. Bumbaugh and Ruby D. (Butler) Bumbaugh.
Dennis was a member of Chambersburg high school. He did not graduate. However he did receive his GED and later in life proceeded on to go to the Human Society Police Officer Academy, to further his education.
He eventually started an animal rescue. He was the CEO and CoFounder of Better Days Animal League.
Dennis enjoyed making people laugh, going shopping, watching the voice and going to Gettysburg pride every year and watching the parade. Showing his love and support. But most importantly he loved his Furbabies and he loved spending time with his only daughter Rashel.
Dennis was proceeded in death by his parents, Dennis O. Bumbaugh and Ruby D. (Butler) Bumbaugh. His maternal grandparents James Bumbaugh and Lydia Bumbaugh.
His grandparents Crawford Butler, Gladys Butler and his step grandfather Merv Kaufman and his best friend Cindy Hall.
Dennis was survived by his daughter Rashel T. Bumbaugh, 28 of Pondbank PA. His life long best friend Matt Pittman. His ex wife Amanda Bumbaugh and her son Austin Rhone.
Dennis will be forever missed by many for the huge impact he had made in so many people's lives.
There will be a celebration of life held March 11, 2023 at Mont Alto Fire Dept Rec Center at 2:30pm. The family is asking everyone bring a dish, or dessert, and your story's to share.

Dad, I miss you so so so much and the furbabies are struggling with you not being here. They are really upset and they look for you. It breaks my heart. I am trying my best to do everything you wanted.it hasn't been easy on me. I haven't even fully processed I'll never be able to hear your voice again, I'll never see you walk past the window when u get home from work, ill never be able to tell you all my problems, you were my go to always. I no your happy now and your were u wanted to be. I just can't help but to feel selfish in a way bc I want you back. I love you Dad
